Day 6

it is hard to believe but today was our last day in NYC and we are currently back in New Jersey and heading back west. Before we get to far I think a recap is in order. We started the day by checkout out of the hotel. It took a little while as a few other large groups have moved in and everyone seemed to want to leave around 8. Once we were all settled we headed to Rockefeller center for the morning. Group split up and did a variety of things. Some hit up The Nintendo store and got a video game fix, some got free tickets to the top of the Rockefeller towers. Some took
The opportunity to go see Trump Tower, and most found some time to check out the stores and Starbucks. From there we headed to the Madison Ave Atrium. It was a really cool area and the band sounded great. The video is in the twitter feed if you would like to hear it and I will post our performances when we get home. From there we headed back up the street to Rockafeller where we got lunch before our tour of Radio City Music Hall. We took the backstage tour which actually  showed us about all of the theater. We learned about the effort to make this building a work of art. We got to sit in the worlds largest auditorium where lots of stars had sat, the original stage lift machinery, the costume shop, and we got to meet a Rockettet. It was an interesting tour, and our guide at least, was quite funny. Most of the girls thought the ladies lounge was pretty great. Our time in NYC ended with each chaperone group doing their own thing around Rockefeller Center and Time Square. And now we are heading our way back to Ackley so I'll leave it here for tonight. I don't have a ton of pictures but here are a few.
